It's Friday, so I don't know about you, but I am very much looking forward to the weekend. Here at claass HAUS, we have this (nerdy?) Saturday morning tradition of watching This Old House while eating breakfast, and this weekend will be no exception. So if you are like me and love a little Kevin O'Connor with your coffee, you'll be pleased to hear that the newest season of the show will feature the rehab of a house in Detroit’s historic Russell Woods neighborhood
Yes. It’s true.
The Motor City. Finally, we can get a break from all of those New England Colonials. You can see the 1939 house here. I have a huge soft spot for Detroit and its remarkable range of residential, commercial, and civic architecture, so I'll definitely be tuning in this season. The 10-part series airs at the end of the month on your local PBS station. So while you are patiently waiting for the premiere, check out this video that (once again) proves how extraordinary Detroit remains.
