It seems like MACRAMÉ is EVERYWHERE, and even though I may be a little late to the Boho game, I've always liked a little CaliMod in my life. So I managed to convince the husband to whip up this beauty for the corner of our dining nook. Um, your husband, you ask? Why, of course. See, it seems that my buttoned up business man used to spend many a hours as a youth weaving hemp necklaces. So contrary to popular belief, useless teenage hobbies DO come in handy later in life. Well, at least in this case. But hey, the final product DOES look pretty darn good, and I love the simple white cord against the muted green of the pineapple plant. Oh yeah, propagating pineapples is another secret skill of my significant other.... And if you don't have a husband proficient in handling hemp, here are some lovely woven alternatives I found online. (Starting from the bottom left)
