Frank Lloyd Wright in Florida. Between house hunting, holidaying, and moving my whole life to another state, I haven't had much time for the blog this summer (my apologies), but I did manage to squeeze in a little architectural detour last week- this time to Lakeland, Florida, home to the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Florida Southern College campus (not to mention an impressive collection of modernist residences). Located in central Florida (think halfway between Tampa and Orlando), Florida Southern College has the largest concentration of Wright-designed buildings, making it a must-see if you are anywhere nearby (and happen to love architecture, of course). I plan to write something a little more detailed on my trip to Lakeland at later date, but until then, here are a few photos from my visit. Check back again soon for something new (or you can follow me on Instagram for an update) and enjoy the final weeks of summer. Thanks for reading.
