Happy Thanksgiving!
claass HAUS should be back on track next week with some new posts, but until then enjoy your family and this seasonally-appropriate Philip Johnson design. Love him or hate him (I actually prefer his early modernist phase), you have to admit- his work remains strangely enigmatic, remarkably relevant, and consistently controversial. If you liked Monday's post about Victor Lundy's swooping Unitarian Meeting House, you'll love this Frank Lloyd Wright design.
It's DECORATED SHED Friday! Venturi and Scott Brown's Fire Station #4 in Columbus, Indiana, is on claass haus today.
On today's claass HAUS HALLOWEEN edition- Lloyd Wright's mysterious (and spooky!) Sowden House.
